PM's decision to attend domestic violence rally 'exploded in his face'

Prime Minister Anthony Albanese’s decision to attend a protest against domestic violence in Canberra has “exploded in his face”, says Sky News host Andrew Bolt.

Mr Bolt said the Prime Minister has been called a liar, bully and misogynist after his attendance.

Mr Albanese has been accused of lying after he said he asked if he could speak at the rally but was denied permission.

“Now I was at first inclined to give Albanese the benefit the doubt … but march organiser Sarah Williams went for Albanese this morning,” Mr Bolt said.

Ms Williams told Sunrise she had actually asked his office if he could speak and said his claim was “really, really upsetting”.
