MARCOS Commando, previously named as Marine Commando Force (MCF), is the special forces unit of the Indian Navy. Created for conducting special operations. You may have been in awe of the US Navy Seals, but we can tell you with pride that the guys at MARCOS are no less and probably ahead of them.
जैसे भारतीय थल सेना में कई रेजिमेंट हैं, जिनसे नाम से दुश्मन कांपता है...वैसे ही भारतीय नौसेना में मार्कोस कंमाडो हैं जो अकेले दुश्मन के दांत खट्टे कर देते हैं. मार्कोस चाहे आतंकवाद से जंग लड़नी हो या फिर समुंदर की गहराई में कोई ऑपरेशन को अंजाम देना हो, यह अपनी विशेष ट्रेनिंग की वजह से दुश्मन के मंसूबों को नाकाम कर देते हैं.
भारत की मार्कोस कमांडो सबसे कुशल कमांडो में मानी जाती है. सबसे कुशल बनने के लिए उन्हें कड़ी मेहनत करनी पड़ती है और कड़ी परीक्षा से गुजरना पड़ता है तब वो मार्कोस बनते हैं. ये हर तरह के ऑपरेशंस में काम करते हैं लेकिन समुंद्री ऑपरेशन में इन्हें महारथ हासिल होती है.बता दें कि मार्कोस का नाम पहले मरीन कमांडो फोर्स (एमसीएफ) हुआ करता था. मार्कोस को दुनिया की बेहतरीन यूएस नेवी सील्स की तर्ज पर विकसित किया जाता है. इन्हें 26/11 मुंबई हमले के ऑपरेशन में बुलाया गया था और इस दौरान यह सामने आए थे. इनकी यूनिफॉर्म के साथ भी खास तरह से डिजाइन की जाती hai.
