The 3 Questions We Ask Before Accepting Any Software Project
The wrong client costs more than no client. We learned this the expensive way.
After dozens of projects, here's the 3-question filter we run before every contract:
→ Do they have a real problem we've solved before?
→ Do they have actual budget — not "we'd like to spend"?
→ Do they treat the build like a product, not a task?
All three = green light. Anything less = polite no.
The clients we turned down would have been our worst projects. Saying no isn't arrogance. It's discipline that compounds.
