MP MATERIALS Stock (FVAC merger) | Chamath's New Investment💰

Chamath Palihapitiya's investment into MP Materials stock (FVAC) is a bet on EV adoption.

Chamath Palihapitiya is a highly successful venture capital investor. He was an early senior executive at Facebook from 2007 to 2011. When he left Facebook he started his own VC fund which is now called Social Capital.

Any of you who have heard Chamath speak will know that he is highly intelligent and his track record of picking winners is unbelievable.

So, when I read that he was involved in a $200 million investment into a rare earth material producer called MP Materials I took notice and I started researching.

In this video I’m going to be talking about the upcoming IPO of MP Materials. MP Materials will merge with a SPAC called Fortress Value Acquisition Corp (FVAC) in Q4 of this year. The final deal will be worth $1.5B and will give investors an opportunity to invest alongside Chamath into a picks and shovel play on the growing trend of EV adoption and electrification.

In this video I cover what MP Materials do, what there strategy for growth is, the financials associated with the FVAC merger/IPO deal, the risks and finally I’ll give you my conclusion.
