New horse shopping haul, getting their field and stable ready and finally my new horse at the end!

Ok hopefully you’ve watched to the end before you read this if not SPOILER ALERT I got not one new horse but TWO NEW SHETLAND PONIES!!!

I have been wanting a new horse as a companion for Taya for a while now, I knew I wanted it to be a Shetland and I reached out to some charities to find one and ended up getting these two as my new horses!

They are pretty much completely unhandled so it’s going to be a bit of a project. I’ll have a ‘Taming my new horse’ video up soon!

What does everyone think of them?? I think they’re SO cute but hella scruffy! I can’t wait to give them a good groom and pamper.

Welcome to my Youtube channel, made to document my journey as a nervous rider trying to find her confidence.

I am 24 years old and have ridden for 20 years. In 2018 I lost my first horse Harry who I'd owned for 10 years and began a 3-year break from horse owning.

In July 2020 (mid pandemic) I bought Taya, a 4-year-old 15hh Haflinger.

I started posting my journey of breaking her in Tiktok and quickly gained a love for documenting the successes, struggles and sticky moments of having a youngster.

A few months ago, for no particular reason, I found I massively lost my confidence with riding. I'm hoping this channel will be motivational for me in pushing myself out my comfort zone and getting my nerves back.

I also hope to show the realities and the down to earth side of being an equestrian and help others feel better with the realisation we all have our bad days 😀
