University of Illinois Veterinarian Jim Lowe discusses how the lessons learned from the livestock sector are and can be used to mitigate the spread of coronavirus in an effort to keep the healthcare system from being overwhelmed by COVID-19. Lowe specializes in infectious diseases of livestock and uses those models to advise both the livestock animal industry and parts of the human healthcare system.
