Intermittent ESC / ABS Fault - VW Golf Mk7 Carista OBD Review + Unlock Hidden Features!

ESC / ABS light coming on and off on your VW Golf Mk7? In this video I diagnose an intermittent ABS fault using a Carista OBD reader and show how the exact faulty wheel speed sensor was identified — even when the ABS warning light wasn't on.

Intermittent ABS faults can be difficult to diagnose because the warning light is not always illuminated. Using the Carista OBD scanner I was able to read stored ABS fault codes and pinpoint the faulty ABS sensor without replacing parts unnecessarily.

I also test the Carista OBD diagnostic tool and show how it can unlock hidden features on your vehicles, including:
* Needle sweep / gauge sweep
* Lock/Unlock Chirp (if your car has it)
* Many different vehicle customisation options

Although this video shows a VW Golf Mk7, the Carista OBD reader works on many different makes and models, making it a useful tool for DIY car diagnostics and fault finding. Check first that the Carista is compatible with your car.
