Cincinnati Offensive Lineman Called For Targeting vs Georgia | 2021 College Football

Cincinnati OL James Hudson commits a very dumb penalty as he hits a Georgia DB well after the play is over. Initially, the play was simply ruled a 15 yard unnecessary roughness penalty, but after rewatching the play, the refs realized Hudson made a helmet to helmet hit while hitting the Georgia defender after the play. The penalty resulted in him getting ejected from the game. The Bearcats still ended up scoring a TD and lead the Georgia Bulldogs 14-10 at halftime of the 2021 Peach Bowl.
