FPS Customizeable Characters?

Hey guys, Spartan here, bringing a Black Ops commentary for ya. In this video, I go over this idea: what if you could FULLY customize your character in a FPS game? Different gloves, different clothes, different shoes/boots, etc.

In my opinion, I'm getting tired of seeing the same soldiers on the field of battle. Not EVERYONE will look EXACTLY alike. It's boring in my eyes how things are being done. So what if we could be unique, and have all different kinds of soldiers on the field of battle?

Now, some might think this would be a waste of time, but what if there was a separate point system or money system to help support this? I know I would enjoy it, I think it would add a certain extra spice to the game.

But, what do you guys think?
