The Classic Tetris World Championship is one of my favorite things each year. I wanted to create a video explaining it for someone who knows nothing about it or has just seen a video or two and wants to learn more.

*Small correction to this segment (thanks to Nocturn for pointing this out) - to keep DAS charged, you press the direction for the next piece in a 10 frame window /before/ it enters the screen, not right as it enters the screen. An incredibly difficult move regardless and impressive for players to pull it off consistently with nearly every piece in tournament!
