Becoming ‘increasingly difficult’ for Anthony Albanese to justify overseas trips
2GB host Michael McLaren says it’s become more difficult for Prime Minister Anthony Albanese to justify his overseas visits, even if they have some outcomes.
Mr McLaren’s remarks come after Anthony Albanese travelled to San Francisco to attend the APEC Summit.
“We’re now looking at 21, 21 overseas journeys, more no doubt to come,” Mr McLaren told Sky News host Peta Credlin.
“The public sense and I think some in the newspapers are picking up on this as well … that there are some fires at home that need attending, and it is not a good look, if nothing else, that the Prime Minister isn’t here.
“It’s harder and harder to justify when all isn’t well at home.”
