How much yarn to buy for crochet bags?🧶⬇️
Figuring out how much yarn one needs for a project is one of the most confusing parts for me.
So today I thought of sharing a few bags that I have made and how much yarn was used to make them. I hope it helps. 🌸

1. 8 granny square mini-bag: Variegated Yarn: less than 100 gm
Pink joining yarn: 10-20 gm
Yarn: weight 4 acrylic
Hook: 5.5 mm (granny square)
4.5 mm: joining and handle
2. Pink summer bag: approx. 150-160 gm
Yarn: weight 3 cotton+ 3.5 mm hook
3. Waffle bag: approx 125-130 gm
Yarn: weight 4 acrylic+ 4.5 mm
4. Japanese Knot Bag: less than 100 gm
Yarn: weight 4 acrylic+ 4.5 mm hook
The quantity of yarn needed for the project depends on the design, stitch used, size, yarn weight/yarn type, hook size and tension.
