Where to go in Moscow. The Cathedral of Christ the Saviour
Hi Guys!
If you spend the only one day in Moscow you should visit this Cathedral and its view terrace!
Free entrance to Cathedral
Ticket to a view point is 250 rubles (4-5$)

It’s near Kropotkinskaya station (Метро Кропоткинская).
In this video I want to show you ‘The Cathedral of Christ the Saviour’ (Russian: Храм Христа Спасителя, Khram Khrista Spasitelya).
This cathedral has an interesting history.
It was built in honor of the fallen soldiers in the battle of 1812 with Napoleon Bonaparte.
The building was started in 1837 and took more than 40 years to finish it.
In 1931 It was destroyed on the order of Soviet leader Joseph Stalin.
And only by the end of 90s the solution to rebuild the cathedral had been accepted and
in 1999 The construction was completed. And now we can see The Cathedral of Christ the Saviour in its magnificence.
Why you MUST visit this Cathedral:
1.It is the tallest Orthodox Christian Church in the world. Height of it is 103 metres.
2. It is the biggest Orthodox Church in Russia
3. A capacity is 10,000 people
4. Outstanding painters and architects reconstituted the church
5. Breathtaking panoramic view
6. It’s a majestic, impressing, picturesque and very beautiful church
On this terrace you can relax, feel the rhythm of the city and even listen to street musicians.
