Solar MPPT 7210a works with any power source within current parameters

Testing my Mppt controller without solar panels. My 2 amp charger for lithium ion broke so instead of buying a new charger I wondered if I could use an alternative power source to charge the battery using my mppt controller. It works great and I have seen other forums talking of using a PSU to power these controllers to gain the benefits when the sun is not great. This enables a variable setting to charge any lithium battery. Just sharing this as other people have thought it but not much out there on it working.
