Iran and US ‘want to make a deal’ says Trump | RTÉ News
Donald Trump says there have been "very good and productive" talks between Washington and Tehran.
The US President says that, as a result of the talks, he will hold off on striking Iranian power plants.
But the speaker of Iran's parliament denied that talks had even taken place - and called Mr Trump's statements "fake news reports" designed to "manipulate financial and oil markets".
