RARE New York City Subway IRT R33/R36 Train Of Many Colors 60th Street/Lexington Avenue
To celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the 1964 World's Fair, the New York Transit Museum operated a Nostalgia Special to the World's Fair Grounds. The "Train of Many Colors" consisted of an R33WF in original paint, two pairs of R33MLs in their original paint and two in MTA corporate silver-and-blue, and, for the first time, a pair of R36WFs in their rebuilt Redbird appearance. The train is seen returning light to 207th Street Yard at the BMT 60th Street/Lexington Avenue station.
