Why Straight Eyebrows Are Back

Where have all the eyebrow arches gone? Straight brows, popularized by K-Beauty, are more in demand than ever. We saw it across the Oscars red carpet, and many pop stars are adopting the look too.

There are aesthetic reasons why straight brows are trending (they have a lifting effect on the face). But I can’t help but notice straight eyebrows are also less expressive. I’m reminded of a brilliant video by @whatzaraloves about the rise of numbness and emotional suppression among women…and how it’s all intertwined with beauty.
