Top 5 Cedar Point Roller Coasters - 2016

As a coaster enthusiast, this is my view on the top 5 coasters at Cedar Point. Keep in mind this is my opinion and mine only. All POVs provided by Cedar Point

Why is Raptor #2?: I picked raptor over Millennium Force & Valravn because it's intensity level, its a huge iconic coaster, and has a very strong layout. The way raptor is iconic because it goes right by and over the midway and was a huge stepping stone for B&M. The layout is back-to-back which gives it a lot of whipping around, yet still manages to be smooth.

Why is Millennium Force at #4?: It's extremely overrated. Yes, it's a fantastic coaster but it's lost it's force over the course of time and is overall not a great experience after riding multiple times. No airtime at all.

Where is Top Thrill Dragster?: I would rate TTD at #6 or #7 for the park. It's down-time, plus extremely long lines, short ride duration, hurtful restraints, and lazy ride ops makes it not into the top 5.

Why is Valravn #3?: Yes, I know it's not great. After riding it a total of ten times now, I can say it's not the best. The reason why it's in the list is because of 3rd row. It gives such an amazing ride experience with a ton of airtime, that old B&M rattle feel, intense GForces, and amazing drops. If you've only rode front row, give 3rd row a shot and see how you like it then.
