WWII Vet’s Emotional Reunion With Young Pen Pal Who Became Army Private

U.S. Army Private Deshauna wrote a letter in the third grade to WWII veteran Frank, who fought in the Battle of the Bulge. He replied to her letter with a feather from his "angels" to protect her. Frank kept the letter close to his heart ever since and looked for his special pen pal for 12 years – and the two meet for the first time on the show today! Deshauna now wears the same uniform Frank once did, and their emotional Veterans Day reunion is beyond sweet.
