Two arrested in Apac for theft and possession of stolen cows
Police in Apac District have arrested two men on allegations of theft and possession of government property. One of the suspects is a former guard attached to a private security firm, while the second suspect is a mulaalo herdsman. The two, residents of Barkworo Village in Alaro Parish, were arrested by vigilant members of the community and found in possession of three stolen cows. Apac Deputy Resident District Commissioner, Joan Apio, and police from Apac Central Police Station rescued the suspects from an angry mob that wanted to kill them. The suspects are members of a criminal gang that has been terrorizing the area since 2018.
