Abstract Watercolour Landscape Painting / Inspired by my local trout stream.

In this abstract watercolour landscape painting I have employed a variety of techniques. Wet on wet, blotting, layering and using a palette knife to achieve greater depth of focus. I try to keep the composition as abstract as possible while adding some sense of detail. This painting has elements of my previous watercolor paintings. An illustration on my evolving painting style. Watercolour paints: Winsor & Newton Professional. More expensive than most other paints but best quality.

Watercolour Paper: Arches 140 lb cold press. Great paper but also expensive. I do notice a big difference when using a 100% cotton fiber paper.

Editing software: DaVinci Resolve. GREAT FREE software. Short learning curve with lots of YT tutorials.
