Rick Grimes Tribute || I'm Not The Good Guy Anymore [TWD]

It’s been a while since I’ve edited my favourite character in The Walking Dead and just in general. I tried to make this edit as dark as possible for Rick Grimes. Instead of going with the usual action sequence with kills on the beat I focused a lot more on the power of speech and showing certain scenes a bit longer than just quick cuts. It was a lot of fun to work like this for a change and I hope you all enjoy this editing style too.

“I’m not the good guy anymore” is one of the most important quotes of Ricky and perhaps even the most important. It’s so pivotal for his entire story arc going into season 3 and further where he is the darkest (my favourite). That’s why I used a picture of season 3 Rick for the thumbnail with this text. The original text was “this isn’t a democracy anymore”, which is cool too. But it’s less significant in my opinion and I focused less on leadership in this particular video. I made the text "the good guy"white on purpose while leaving the rest stained in red to create some sort of tainted by blood vibe. The good guy, he isn't anymore.

The music is a remix of In the House in a Heartbeat by Ariesys. Original soundtrack by John Murphy.
The Music had a perfect build up and menacing tone that allowed for a powerful yet sinister tribute for our favourite ex-sheriff.
