ARCTIC CIRCLE SLEEPER TRAIN | Travel to northern Sweden!

I have finally tested the Arctic Circle Sleeper Train, to Kiruna in northern Sweden. The train is run by SJ and departs from Stockholm at 6 pm. It runs all the way to Narvik in Norway and the journey as a whole takes 18:46 hours. My journey starts in Sundsvall and I get off in Kiruna at 9:30 am, a total travel time of just over 10 hours.

I make this trip with my partner and we have our own compartment in 2nd class. It is also possible to choose a divided cabin and part in a six-bed cabin. At Arctic Circle Sleeper Train there is no 1 class.

This single trip in 2 class private cabin cost about 220 EUR, depending on when booking.
