Forbidden Colours

My own arrangement of Master Ryuchi Sakamoto's Forbidden Colours (AKA Merry Christmas Mr Lawrence) worked out by ear from the B-side of David Sylvian's 12 of Red Guitar many many years ago. I was always blown away by this piece, and spent weeks laboriously and painstakingly working through the intro especially, note by note, from the vinyl record. Sections I found so dense that I had to play the record at 33rpm, work out the slower version, then transpose it back up a fifth (to compensate for the pitch change that accompanied the speed change!). A very important piece for me. With utomost respect for this most classy and subtle of composers.
