ASKING OR RECEIVING WHAT HAS BEEN GIVEN?

Are we asking God to provide something he has already provided? For example, the Bible says we are forgiven in Christ. Are we continually to ask for more? We have been given identity once and for all. Are we asking for more? We have been declared righteous. Are we asking to be in Wright standing? We have been given peace, the fruit of the spirit, the gifts of the spirit, his name, his word, his armor, his blood, the angels, and so much more. Yet I hear every day, Lord, please give me… It’s time to understand what has already been given to us through Jesus and walk in the fullness Jesus paid for.
