Exercise Induced Compartment Syndrome Signs and Symptoms

This gentleman come to see me with what appears to be radicular pain down the right leg. There was question of increased pain with the use of new shoes. Complaints are pain from the knee down, paresthesia throughout the lower leg and whole foot and "loss of control" of the foot and ankle after walking a while. Also, the patient complains of the leg "locking" on him while walking. DTR's, sensation, strength are normal. Hoffman's sign and Babinski are negative. Slight pes planus foot posture. After clinical testing it appears he has Exercise induced compartment syndrome.
