ᐃᑐᐦᑌᐃᐧᐣ itohtêwin (Dance Film)

ᐃᑐᐦᑌᐃᐧᐣ itohtêwin translates to goal of journey or destination in nehiyaw (cree) language.

This short dance film is made in honour of ancestors past, present and future and is a tribute to those whose spirits dance on through the stars. 

In memory of loved ones we will always remember and be grateful to, and for those whose lives were tragically stolen due to ongoing acts of colonial violence.

This film imagines life beyond earth for our relatives making their journey home to the sky world. (Danced by Angela Miracle Gladue - Cree/nehiyaw, Frog Lake First Nation)
