UAE asks UN Security Council to vote for Gaza ceasefire
The United Arab Emirates has asked the UN Security Council to vote on Friday morning on a draft resolution that demands an immediate humanitarian ceasefire in Gaza, according to reports.

For a resolution to be adopted, it needs at least nine votes in favour and no vetoes by the five permanent members – the US, Russia, China, France, and the UK.

Freed Israeli hostages en route to hospitals in central Tel Aviv
The 10 Israeli women who were released from Hamas captivity on Tuesday night have left the Hatzerim Air Force base and are on their way to two hospitals in central Israel, where they will be reunited with their families.

The two Thai nationals who were released have already arrived at Assaf Harofeh Hospital, where they will be examined by medical teams.
IDF: Explosives set off in last hour near Israeli forces in northern Strip in violation of cease-fire, several soldiers lightly wounded
The Israeli army said on Tuesday that three explosive devices had been set off in the last hour near soldiers in two separate incidents in northern Gaza – in violation of cease-fire rules – and that several soldiers had been lightly wounded.

According to the army's statement, in one incident a shot was fired at an IDF soldier and there was an exchange of fire. In both cases the army forces stayed within the agreed cease-fire lines.
