When Does Observing Become Directing | Rameshwar Bhatt | TEDxPrahladnagar
How captivating it is to see the streams flowing, the bumblebee wheezing around the garden carefully choosing the flower-filled with nectar, and the sun and the moon on their regular rounds! Rameshwar Bhatt is an Indian filmmaker and currently a student of Philosophy who began telling stories and capturing such beautiful picturesque views at the age of thirteen with his iPhone camera. He and his over 150 short-length films communicate the rustic and transforming realities of humanity and its relationship with nature, the effects of the volatile climate, and adaptation by vernacular India. He represented the youth of Asia Pacific at the Youth Climate Action Summit 2019, New York. His film ‘Waves of Heat’ won the UNDRR award in 2018 and ‘A Sun at Night’ received first prize at the Connect4Climate Global Film Competition 2016.
