Our first time trying squid jigging in Marang, Terengganu, Malaysia -- Steve was talking a big game beforehand, and in the end couldn't even stand up on the boat! Total fail. Now he knows how difficult candat sotong in Terengganu really is!

If you are wondering if squid jigging is hard, (if candat sotong is hard)... well it's hard if you are sea sick!!

We also saw the Marang River Cruise, and Dataran Batu Putih - which were amazing cultural experiences for us. We loved watching, learning and eating all the traditional style of life.
