A somewhat rambling review of the Carpe Iter motorcycle navigation tablet, CI controller, and DMD2.

My opinion of the Carpe Iter tablet and assorted bits.

Spoiler: 9/10, would spend a horrendous amount of money again.

Update 1:
There's an additional cable you can buy to provide a second power source to the tablet (it plugs into the supplied 5v cable* at one end, and the bit that sticks out of the side of the tablet). I'm told by Joao, the DMD2 developer, that it solved his intermittent charging problem, which can be caused by riding over rough ground.

*not all of the Carpe Iter mounts come with the dual output power supply - I have one dual, and one single. You need the dual power supply for the additional cable.
