After spending 21 days in quarantine, and after playing his first gig in over 16 months - I sat down with Andrew to have a chat. We catch up from the last time we met, which turned out to be the last gig he played before the pandemic hit, Transmission Australia back in February 2020.
We go deep in to his three weeks in quarantine, we talk about the feeling of being on stage after so long, and how do you stay motivated in the studio - when there are no gigs happening?
We go beyond music, during the last 16 months Andrew not only lost his job, his livelihood, he also lost his father. We talk about how to deal with loss, how to heal and how Bryan Kearney became a very important person in his grieving process.
