Room scale VR is dangerous... and AWESOME! // Become a VR Tomb Raider in Eye of the Temple VR

Today I learnt that room scale VR is dangerous & that I definitely need a bigger house, Eye of the Temple VR is an awesome new room scale VR puzzle game / escape room that sees players physically moving within their own space to maneuvre through the ancient tombs in game. It's the closest thing we have to a VR Tomb Raider or VR Indiana Jones style experience & it's a wonderfully designed & intricately pieced together game... I just wish I had more space to play it. During my playtime I bumped into the door, TV table, light fixture & sofa multiple times & even managed to nearly slam my jaw into the TV stand by ducking under an obstacle. I think I'm right on the cusp of the required 2 x 2 meter playspace requirement & I'd suggest giving yourself a little extra to play this comfortably in your own homes.

The thing that impressed me the most with Eye of the Temple VR is how it keeps you within a 3 x 3 square playspace at all times, you'd assume that leaving your play area would be a common occurance but due to the way the game has been crafted you're consistently kept within your boundaries. The game is also presented as one huge intricate & interconnected level with no loading screens to be seen (at the least the hour and a half that I've played so far) which makes the design of the game even more impressive. For those of you who have big expansive play areas & want some truly immersive room scale VR games I would highly recommend Eye of the Temple. Although there is no native Eye of the Temple Quest 2 / Eye of the Temple Oculus Quest 2 version the game did run wonderfully via Quest 2 PC VR link for those with a VR ready PC setup at home.
