Is this a 'Classic Camera'? Street photography & Portraits in London

In this video I hit the streets of London with a classic camera the Fujifilm X-Pro2. London is one of my favourite places for Street Photographer and this camera is one of my favourite ever camera's! so I was very excited to be spending the day walking around London capturing some exciting and interesting scenes. Also testing my brand new prime lens, the fujifilm XF6mm F/2.8.
My street photography normally consists of spontaneous fun and candid images. I very rarely approach people and ask for permission to take “Street portraits”. Not that I have anything against it I just prefer my images to be candid.
when I arrived in London I spotted a few interesting people who were happy for me to take their photograph. This encouraged me to interact more with most of the other people I met on the day. I was thrilled to have met so many amazing and interesting people. I love this about London.
I really enjoyed the whole experience of meeting people and talking to them while they were happily engaging in my photography. The ironic part of it all is that I was also testing a new lens I had just purchased the Fujifilm 16 mm 2.8 prime lens which is a full frame equivalent of 24 mm. This lens would be my last choice for a portraits as typically I don’t enjoy using a wide-angle lens to photograph people as there is a risks of distortion. However I found this lens really good for environmental street portraits as it’s allowed me to include more of their environments in the images, without going too close.
I guess I’m a traditional street photographer in that I don’t typically look for staged and posed images, I am aware that a lot of other street photographers do consider street portraits to be valid form of street photography. I thoroughly enjoyed my day in London with the Fujifilm x-Pro2 and will definitely be using this combination in future to capture more street photography and street portraits.
I hope you enjoyed the video
