Replacing the Caps in My Sony Walkman

I had previously tried to fix a cassette Walkman I had picked up from eBay pretty inexpensively. But after addressing its obvious faults, there was an audio problem that I couldn't quite sort out. There was an overwhelming number of comments in that video that said I should replace the capacitors...but would that make a difference?
