Chernobyl Part Six: The Reactor

Explore the depths of the abandoned area known as the Chernobyl Exclusion Zone. On April 26, 1986, Reactor Number 4 of the Chernobyl Nuclear Reactor exploded, forcing a massive evacuation 30km around the site of the accident. Today, the Zone can only be accessed with special permission from the Ukrainian Government.

Join me on a two day journey through Chernobyl, told through a series of six videos, where I visited everything from the Outskirt Villages, to the city of Pripyat, to the Reactor itself.

Here, in Part Six, we go to where it all happened, and check Reactor Number Four and the surrounding area. This included an unfinished cooling tower, the unfinished reactor number five, and even lunch where the current power plant workers eat!

Visiting Chernobyl has been at the top of my bucket list for a very long time, and I am so happy that I finally got to go. Of course, it is the location of a disaster, and those that passed need to be respected.
