Rare footage of Peabody's Bucyrus-Erie 2570w at the Hawthorn Mine in Sullivan County, Indiana in July 1996. Footage includes views from down the pit, some narration about the machine, digging with it's 100 cubic yard bucket and 360 foot boom, views from the roof, the operator's cab, and bucket and 'jewelry' inpection with commentary; again, a wealth of historic footage courtesy of former operators!
