High precision manufacturing of complex components: A brief walkthrough.

Hi all!

This is just a small compilation of my thoughts as I run through the manufacturing process of a complex, and tightly toleranced component. It started of as a demo of Adam Demuths toolmaker's cube, but it expanded into a bit of a ramble.

It is by no means exhaustive, but hopefully you can get a small insight into how we use our Kern milling machines, surface gridners and a surface plate metrology.
