In this film, director Irene Baqué travels to Pembrokeshire, Wales, to meet the Bluetits, a group of 15 female wild swimmers, who meet regularly to brave the chilly waters of their local coastline. As they rush into the crashing waves, they explain how getting together gives them a space for open conversation, mutual support and a deeper kind of friendship: sisterhood.

“Our Sisterhood” is a series of films that explore the power of female tribes, focusing on three different groups of women, who have found comfort, support and joy in being a part of a strong sisterhood. In three episodes that bring together women of all ages and backgrounds, we discover that sisterhood is as multifaceted as the women it empowers.
