Project-scoped ephemeral workspaces in HCP Terraform

Cloud resources that are left unused or forgotten drive up your organization’s cloud costs and can be a security risk. But finding and removing these resources is difficult and often a neglected task. Ephemeral workspaces in HCP Terraform lets you solve this by scheduling automatic destruction of temporary resources.

Project-scoped ephemeral workspaces are now available in HCP Terraform. With this enhancement, project admins can define the default auto-destroy inactivity timeframe to be inherited by all new and existing workspaces in a project. Now, platform teams can enable developers to self-service workspaces within their projects without sacrificing cost controls.
