Ferrari 512S in action - 10000 Tours du Castellet

Built in 1970, the Ferrari 512S is a V12-powered car meant to race in the International Championship for Makes by the Scuderia Ferrari as well as private teams. The Ferrari 512 model was "abandoned" by the Scuderia Ferrari which led the team to focus on the Ferrari 312PB against its archenemy, the Porsche 917.

There are 25 units of the Ferrari 512S (enough for homologation by the racing authorities). This particular one attended the 10000 Tours du Castellet event with a Ferrari 512M (M stands for Modificata), both owned by brothers.
