Frank's Files: Styling Magnificent Jewels with Hodinkee’s Malaika Crawford

For this edition of Frank’s Files, Frank is joined by style editor at Hodinkee, Malaika Crawford. Together, they explore the extraordinary jewels included in Sotheby’s Magnificent Jewels sale coming this June. From Cartier, to Van Cleef and Arpels, to Hemmerle, there are plenty of jewels to gaze in awe over. Highlights include a truly spectacular fancy vivid purplish-pink diamond, or The Eternal Pink, the jaw-dropping Estrela de FURA: 55.22 ruby, and two electric watches from the Collection of Joanne Woodward and Paul Newman. Malaika and Frank also start a new trend with “the match is back”, featuring a wonderful pair of Cartier earrings and an astounding gold and diamond ‘Babylon’ necklace, also from Cartier, to top off a special auction of Magnificent Jewels as a part of Sotheby’s New York’s Luxury Week.
