1. kore / sore / are [this/ that/ that thing over there]
2. kono~ / sono~ / ano~ [this (noun) / that (noun) / that (noun) over there]
3. soudesu /sou ja arimasen [Yes, it is./ No, it is not.]
4. (S1) ka, (S2) ka [Is it (S1) or (S2)?]
5. N1 no N2 [N1 explains what N2 is about/N1 owns N2]
6. soudesuka [I see. / Is that so?]

Conversation Practice
A: Yes, who is it? [hai,donata desk ka?]
B: I’m (name) from unit 301. [san-zero-ichi no (name) desu]
B: Hello. I’m (name). [konnichiwa (name) desu]
I hope for your kind assistance hereafter. [korekara osewani narimasu]
Pleased to meet you. [douzo yoroshiku onegaishimasu]
A: Pleased to meet you too. [kochirakoso yoroshiku]

These lessons are based from the Minna No Nihongo Textbook (1st edition), which I chose because I’m familiar with it. But even if you don’t have the textbook, you can still follow along the lessons by just watching the video.

I’m sharing what I’ve learned from my language school and through self-study. I’ve passed the JLPT N3 exam and am planning to take the JLPT N2 test in the future.
