BETTER THAN HSL? - Interview with Alexei Boronine

HSL (Hue, Saturation, Lightness) is a commonly used tool for picking colors in digital art and design. However, HSL can lead designers into problems especially when trying to develop color schemes with evenly scaled contrast. Is there a better solution? I spoke with Alexei Boronine, a programmer who developed an alternative colorspace in 2012 called HSLuv.
