Family and Love is what matters at the end

As an estate planning attorney, I'm humbled and honored when people allow me into their lives to see the love they have for one another, to watch couples as they reminisce about their lives together, the good and bad times.

I've been called to assisted living facilities, nursing homes, and hospitals many times when loved ones know the end is near to do powers of attorney, last will and testament, and advance directives for health care. But, oftentimes, as I sat talking with the clients and watched the love and memories pour from them, I was reminded that, what matters at the end of our lives, is our family and the love we shared.
