In this video, we have demonstrated how to make a UV sterilizer at home. Which can be used to sterilize Mask, Mobile Phone, Valet, Googles, Ornaments, Currency notes, Bank Cards, Watches, Head phones, Car keys, Stationary, Kids bottle, Kids toys, Vegetables, Fruits, etc.,

Ultraviolet germicidal irradiation (UVGI) is a disinfection method that uses short-wavelength ultraviolet (ultraviolet C or UVC) light to kill or inactivate microorganisms by destroying nucleic acids and disrupting their DNA and RNA, leaving them unable to perform vital cellular functions.

Germicidal UV for disinfection is most typically generated by a mercury-vapor lamp. Low-pressure mercury vapor has a strong emission line at 254 nm to 275nm, which is within the range of wavelengths that demonstrate strong disinfection effect.

UV-C bulb what we used is of 11 watt and with emission line at 254nm. This is very hazardous to Eyes and Skin when we comes in contact with this light directly. This project is demonstrated with UV when no one was near to the light source.

Can I reuse my Mask ?
An circular from CDC says, Supplies of N95 respirators can become depleted during an influenza pandemic or wide-spreadoutbreaks of other infectious respiratory illnesses. Existing CDC guidelines recommend a combination of approaches to conserve supplies while safeguarding health care workers in such circumstances.
