New Hammertoe Correction Procedure Performed in the Office
http://www.neufoot.com. Dr. Matthew Neuhaus of Neuhaus Foot and Ankle, a podiatry office with four locations just outside of Nashville, Tenn., talks about a new hammertoe correction procedure called "Flexor Tenotomy" that is able to be performed in the office instead of the hospital due to the procedure being minimally invasive. The toe is numbed and a needle cuts the tendon in the toe, causing the tendon to retract, and lengthen. The patient leaves with a band-aid on the toe with minimal down time. This is a great alternative to Hammertoe correction surgery and should be discussed with your local podiatrist, or you can contact our office at (888) 713-0906 or (615) 220-8788 or at www.neufoot.com.
