Why did the King of the Hill revival bring this back?

So, are John Redcorn and Nancy together again? I think a lot of King of the Hill fans, myself included would be upset if these two were continuing their affair. Don’t get me wrong this whole thing is one of my favorite bits from the show. Dale is a conspiracy theorist that can’t tell his wife is cheating on him. Even when his son looks just like his wife’s masseuse. The two were hooking up for the first four seasons of the show until Nancy and Dale began to reconnect. It is clear that Nancy still loves her husband and breaks it off with John Redcorn. Then you see how good of a husband dale of all people can be, and how close Redcorn and Dale get. We even saw that nancy’s life falls apart without dale, and she still refused to start her affair back up. It’s kind of heartwarming. So now in the revival we see that Nancy and John Redcorn are hosting a real estate series together and it’s not really clear what the situation is. Maybe the joke is on the audience at this point. We don’t know what’s going on, just like Dale. I really hope they are just platonic coworkers that use their good chemistry to sell houses and nothing else. What do you think, are they back together or not?
