UAD - Studer A800 Plugin Explained (Complete walkthrough)

In this plugin Walkthrough I'm looking at the Studer a800 plugin, which is a Universal Audio plugin for UAD cards. The plugin is very well modeled after the original hardware, as most UA-plugins are.

The UA Studer A800 is a tape emulation plugin, making your digital recordings sound like if they were recorded on the Studer tapemachine.

It captures the tonal qualities of the original hardware, including the harmonic distortion caused by it's components.
The legendary Studer a800's are well known and much used in audio recordings, but this plugin is a lot easier to maintain than the hardware.
