Scleral Contact Lens Application and Removal Tutorial

This video reviews how to apply and remove scleral contact lenses. These lenses are often prescribed for medically-necessary applications to restore functional vision for keratoconus and after corneal transplantation, failed refractive eye surgery, and eye trauma. These lenses are also prescribed for extreme medical dry eye, where trapping non-preserved artificial tears against the eye keeps the eye surface moist.
